The Irish-styled Skelligs Pub is open daily for lunches and light dinners from 11:00 – 22:00. The pub offers a relaxed, informal setting in which to enjoy a pint of tapped Guinness or a hearty meal. The pub opens onto a deck adjacent to the pool, where guests can enjoy a refreshing cocktail on a balmy summer’s evening.
Skelligs is the anglicized form of Scellig and the English meaning is ‘Rock’. In the early Christian period, the most notable settlement of all on the south-west coast of Ireland was Skellig Micheal, where a monastry of beehive huts clung to precarious ledges on the steep sided island.
