Erinvale Estate Hotel & Spa opens doors to new level of luxury

We are pleased to announce that the second phase of the complete overhaul of our luxurious hotel has been completed. Under the guidance of Swiss born General Manager Urs Kern, in collaboration with owner, Christian Elleke, the two-year revamping of both the hotel and conference centre was driven.

The new rooms were designed by acclaimed interior designer Clinton Savage and have surpassed all expectations. The walls and ceilings are painted a demure beige which lends a chameleon-like hue to the rooms; decorated in bespoke red, green and blue themes with custom made art, fittings and furniture completing the picture. Kern, explains the philosophy behind the design: “We want to merge the old-world charm of the buildings with the contemporary but not overdoing it. You won’t find any bling – just a fine, gentlemanly style.”

Apart from the sumptuous accommodation Erinvale Estate Hotel and Spa also offers the convenience and added benefit of a state-of-the-art conference centre, spa, swimming pools and access to a Gary Player designed golf course. Adding to the picture-perfect setting is the hotel’s tranquil garden with its majestic oaks, magnolias and camphors; part of the regeneration is to enhance the landscaping to mirror the oasis of comfort and luxury of the interiors. Under the auspices of award winning landscaper, Alan Dawson, phase one has been completed with the introduction of a water-wise fynbos garden.
