As Autumn awakes, and fireplaces roar, excitement sets the scene for our next refurbishments

Following the upgrades to our Manor House, guest bedrooms, Stefan’s Restaurant and our two meeting venues, Oak and Birch, the next phase of our refurbishment is getting underway. We remain committed and are excited to continue to enhance our property with ongoing investment and renovations to uplift our guests experience when choosing to stay with us in the Heart of the Helderberg.

Starting end of April 2023, this next phase centres around adding some finishing touches to the guest bedrooms, renovations to the Magnolia Social Dining Lounge outside pool area and further enhancement of our Camphor Venue.

First up (and with an estimated completion date of around July this year), the carpets in all the bedrooms will be replaced, complementing the gorgeous 2022 makeover that included fine furnishings, Kauffman and Sanders bedding and artwork. The new, plush carpets will work to pull together the eclectic décor and finishes, adding that final flourish to our guest bedrooms.

The Magnolia Social Dining Lounge is a beautiful venue that centres around casual dining, and it’s where our guests love to linger. The planned enhancements are set to create an even more inviting and relaxing space. Starting in July, renovations to the outside pool area at Magnolia Social Dining Lounge gets underway. Work is expected to be completed in August.

This largest project of this phase is the enhancement of our Camphor Venue. Works will start in July with estimated completion in December 2023. A lovely way to usher in 2024! This venue comprises three interleading spaces and accommodates up to 120 people. The planned work will elevate and enhance our complete offering of meeting spaces, delivering a luxurious and elegant environment for all future events, including meetings, product launches, cocktail functions and gala dinners.

Kindly note the dates of the refurbishments, as the Magnolia Social Dining Lounge and the Camphor Venue will be closed during these times. We are looking forward to unveiling the upgrades and welcoming you to our beautiful home-away-from-home once again!
